A diagnostic of your site’s speed and search health. I measure it the way Google does, find the causes, and hand your team a ranked backlog.
Lab scores and field data are different tests
A Lighthouse score is one test on one simulated phone. Google’s Core Web Vitals assessment uses 28 days of real visits from Chrome. A site can score in the 90s in the lab and still fail in the field, and the reverse. The diagnostic measures both and shows which one is costing you.

How long it takes
Typically 2 to 4 weeks from access to readout, depending on the size of the site.
- Measure
I pull 28 days of Chrome field data for your key pages, run lab tests on the same URLs, crawl the site and list every tag that loads.
- Find the causes
I trace each slow page to the template, script or file behind it, and test the biggest fixes on a staging copy so the backlog says what each one is worth.
- Read out
You get the audit, the developer backlog and an executive readout as a document and a deck, walked through on a call.

Slow sites at a VC firm’s portfolio companies
A prominent VC firm brings me in when one of its portfolio companies has a slow website. I measure the site on real visitors’ data, trace each slow page to the tag, script or template behind it, and give the company’s developers a ranked list of fixes.
The work has run on Shopify, WordPress and Next.js, and the causes rhyme: tag managers carrying years of old tags, testing scripts that hide the page while they load, and templates that load everything on every page.

What access do you need?
I work with your team on the access the job needs.
Do you fix the problems or only find them?
Mostly I find them and rank them. When your team needs development help to ship the fixes, I do that work too.
Does it work on Shopify or another hosted platform?
Yes. I’ve run it on Shopify, WordPress and Next.js sites. On a hosted platform the fixes land in the theme, the apps and the tags, which is usually where the problems are.
